Executive Director of Tourism for Lake of the Woods, Joe Henry, will be the guest speaker at the FM Walleyes Unlimited, Inc., meeting to be held Thursday, January 19th at the Baymont Inn & Suites, Fargo, ND.

As a long time guide, licensed charter captain, and tournament angler, Joe Henry has made fishing a part of his everyday life.  Joe “cut his teeth” on MN lakes and rivers and has guided and fished walleyes throughout the nation.  Joe’s home water is now Lake of the Woods, which he has fished for over 25 years.

With over a million acres of water shared by two countries, 14,552 islands and a vast diversity of structure, The Walleye Capital of the World is a massive watershed to say the least.  These waters are famous not only for numbers of fish, but monster fish as well.  In Joe’s seminar, you will learn, discuss and have the opportunity to ask questions about:

  • Logically understanding the different areas of the lake and Rainy River
  • Breaking apart the water for success
  • Understanding fish movements per season
  • What techniques, lures and colors are the most effective
  • Secrets you won’t read in digital media

The event will take place Thursday, January 19th at the Baymont Inn & Suites, Fargo, ND. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public.
