Long Point over to 12 Mile Reef had numbers in the 19-22 foot range. Those that headed north to the reefs got lucky in 16-21 feet. Hot colors were gold, chartreuse, or pink.

On the Rainy River, smallmouth bass and northern pike very active with walleyes in the mix as well. Best bite in 17-20 feet jigging with a minnow or frozen shiner on pink or gold. On cloudier days with less clarity try shallower waters in 14-16 feet.
