Across the Ice Belt… Lake of the Woods Walleyes

Last winter, Jeff Andersen and Jean Paul Tessier (The Lake of the Woods Outdoorsman) both with Ice Team combined their efforts and went hunting for big LOW walleyes.  Fishing out of Angle Outpost Resort up at the NW Angle, the adventure was a great one for these two accomplished ice anglers.  With Lake of the Woods being The Walleye Capital of the World and often getting fishable ice in early December, it won’t be long and adventures like this will be a reality again.  Some anglers like to use their own equipment, like Jeff and JP did in the show.  Others prefer to make life easy and do the full service ice fishing that many LOW resorts offer.  Whatever your preference, don’t waste the winter, get out and ice fish!
