Big Time Entertainment Line up Announced for Lake of the Woods in August!

Walleye Master Charity Events and Lake of the Woods Tourism announce the entertainment line up for this year’s community events in August.  This year’s “Pay It Forward” charity event which is a fishing extravaganza, dinners and entertainment to benefit, appreciate and honor injured veterans has been set.  On Thursday evening, August 20th, Bruce Neumann and Tiki D will take the stage at Sportsman’s Lodge.  Veterans will enjoy a private welcome dinner and then join the public in the Sandbar as Sportsman’s for some “Floribbean music with a twist of lime”.  This talented musical duo performed last year at the inaugural event with rave reviews.  The public is welcomed to join in on the fun in the Sandbar as the band plays from 7pm – 10pm.

Another returning musical act returning is the Groove Merchants featuring Jimi “Prime Time” Smith.  This blues band from the Twin Cities rocked Baudette last year.  Jimi “Prime Time” Smith was the 2014 Minnesota Blues Performer of the Year.  For people who saw the band, they were absolutely blown away.  Compliments poured in.  “That was a big time blues band, we had no idea!”  “Next year, I am telling all my family and friends”.  Well, that next year is approaching.  Mark your calendar for Saturday, August 22nd.
