“Duck” Soup
This is affectionately called Duck Soup, named after an individual. However, it really doesn’t have any duck in the ingredients.
Ingredients:
1 pound hamburger
1 medium onion
1 medium carrot
1- 46 oz. can V-8 juice
Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions:
In large soup pot, brown hamburger. Shred the onion and the carrot. Add to the hamburger. Pour in V-8 juice and simmer. The longer it simmers, the better the taste. Can be simmered on the stove or use a crock pot on low for 4 hours. Serves approximately four. Great dish to have ready for the hunting season.
