Many of our resorts offer the full experience for ice fishing. What that means is you wake up, go get some breakfast, hop on a heated bomber or trailer, and head out to your heated fish house. You will rarely be in the cold environment. Once done fishing the guides will clean your fish for you. For anglers, Lake of the Woods is the mecca of ice fishing. The diversity of fish is unbelievable along with areas of the lake. The Rainy River is home to some giant walleyes, pike, and sturgeon. The main basin is home to hundreds of thousands of walleyes and saugers who roam the entire Big Traverse Bay. Then we have the Northwest Angle where our 14,552 islands begin and many  species of fish. With so many options where do you start.
