Working with 1 ear of corn at a time, carefully pull back the husks, leaving them attached at the stem end. Remove and discard the silks, then replace the husks around the ear. Soak the ears in cold water to cover for at least 20 minutes and then drain.
Prepare a medium-hot fire in a grill.
Carefully pull back the husks from each ear and, using paper towels, dry off the kernels. Rub the oil evenly over the kernels and replace the husks.
Place the corn in a mesh grill griddle. Cook, rotating the ears a quarter turn every 3 to 4 minutes until the husks are browned and the kernels are just tender, about 15 minutes.
In a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise and cayenne pepper. Lightly spread each ear of corn with the mayonnaise mixture, then sprinkle with the cheese and cilantro. Serve immediately with lime wedges for squeezing on top. Serves 4.

On the south end... Excellent walleye action continues along the south shore. Limits of walleyes and saugers in Four Mile Bay, Lighthouse gap, Morris Point gap, and along the south shore of the lake. The go-to presentation is anchored up and jigging with a jig and minnow. Pink and gold strong colors. Some anglers trolling crankbaits and also doing well. Reports of fish in varying depths, but 15-25' holding good fish.
On the Rainy River... Good numbers of walleyes still in the river and some nice fish being caught. Bright jigs and frozen shiner hard to beat. Strong current in the river, thus heavier jigs necessary. Sturgeon season is closed until July 1st when it re-opens for the catch season again.
Up at the NW Angle... Anglers catching nice walleyes as the water warms. Reports of nice fish coming from shoreline structure and areas with current. Most anglers using jig and minnow. Evening bite continues strong. Saugers, pike and perch were also in the mix.
