What’s That Bump on Minnesota By the Students at Angle Inlet School

Up in the Lake of the Woods area, we are proud of all of our students.  Recently, I ran across a piece that from my perspective was not only informative, but also made me proud of our talented youth everywhere.

This story is written by the NW Angle kids who live and go to school at the Angle.  This is the who, what, where, why, when and how of the bump and life at the Angle.

This is the only one room school in MN.  There are about 12 students who attend this school from grades K – 6.

As one parent I was chatting with recently put it, “I think our children miss some things by not being in the more populated parts of the state, but in many other ways, I think they gain.”  Well said, and I agree.

Enjoy their brilliance, their knowledge and their youthful perspectives!

A big “thank you” to both the students of the Angle Inlet School as well as their very talented teacher, Linda LaMie and their para Mrs. Shoen for sharing their story.
