And finally, another professional walleye tournament circuit that has never been to Lake of the Woods is coming September 5-7, 2018. The NWT or National Walleye Tour features some of the biggest and well known names in the walleye world.
This tournament features pros who are teamed up with amateur anglers who enter the tournament as an amateur and have the chance to be teamed up with a different pro each day of the tournament. For walleye anglers wanting the opportunity to really increase their knowledge of walleye fishing and do it on The Walleye Capital of the World, this is a wonderful opportunity.
There are a number of other tournaments through resorts and businesses on a smaller scale throughout the year as well, but when it comes to some of the tournaments that receive much of the attention in the fishing world, these four are certainly towards, if not at, the top!
