River Bend’s Fish Fry at WalleyeFest/Pay it Forward

You are welcome to join us at WalleyeFest and Pay it Forward Saturday, August 22nd from 5-7 pm at the Lake of the Woods Fairgrounds for River Bend Resort’s World Famous Fish Fry dinner! You do NOT want to miss the perfectly cooked walleye, baked beans, buns, coleslaw… and did I mention BACON? This free will offering dinner (all proceeds to the charity) will be open to the public starting at 5 pm in the 4H building/pavilion at the fairgrounds in Baudette with 60 injured veterans to join the festivities about 6pm that evening.

During dinner there will be speeches given by some of the veterans themselves, as well as a color guard ceremony. Starting at 7 the Groove Merchants, featuring the 2014 MN Blues Performer of the Year, Jimi “Prime Time” Smith will be taking the main stage.  The beer garden will be open for a variety of refreshments, the music will be playing and people will be dancing.  Yep, it’s a party in Baudette and everyone (that means you!) are invited.
