It’s that time of the year many call their favorite. “Sweatshirt weather” as some call it also is the time when the forests, bogs, fields and shorelines come to life with the changing colors of fall. Right now is the peak time to view fall colors around Lake of the Woods. To help plan your adventure, the MN DNR tracks fall colors around the state with a helpful fall colors map.
