Lake of the Woods Tourism at Sioux Falls Sportsmen’s Show This Weekend
If you are in the Sioux Falls region this weekend, it is that time of the year again. The 52nd Annual Sioux Falls Sportsmen’s Show is taking place at the Sioux Falls Arena and Convention Center Thursday – Sunday, March 7-10. Boats, hunting, travel, outfitters, outdoor seminars, fishing tackle and more will be represented.
Check out seminars on walleye fishing with Joe Henry. March is a time to look forward to the open water and the Sioux Falls Sportsmen’s Show is loaded with info. With the excitement of looking ahead is getting better at fishing, and in this case, walleye fishing. Joe Henry of Lake of the Woods Tourism has put together some popular seminar topics this year. The first is Crawler Harnesses A – Z. Henry breaks apart one of the most successful ways of catching walleyes regardless of where you fish. Harnesses can be used with minnows, leeches, crawlers or even plastic baits. They can be fished shallow or deep, in lakes and rivers, in clear or stained water. Henry shares the tips and tricks learned throughout a lifetime on the water.
The second topic is Top Strategies for Walleye Success. In this seminar, Joe Henry discusses three top tactics to catch walleyes but more importantly, the nuances behind the technique that can be the difference between getting bit and not getting bit.
