Willie Walleye Weekend

Baudette, Lake of the Woods, and surrounding areas would like to welcome everyone to come enjoy Willie Walleye Weekend. The Willie Walleye Weekend has had an on and off again past which started in 1959. The celebration went away for a time in the 70’s and 80’s but has been going strong since the early 90’s. The dates are June 1st and 2nd. Activities around the area include Flea markets, rodeos put on by Wojo’s Rodeo, breakfast and dinners, pancake feed, car show, 5k run, horse show, fish fry, bingo, and sidewalk sales. Crazy days for city merchants has been moved to coincide with the festivities this year. New Baudette Chamber of Commerce President Brittney Peterson said ” She hopes Baudette locals and visitors alike can come and enjoy our great town and be able to make it some of the events”. If you are in the area come stop by and partake in this family fun filled weekend.
