Girls Gone Fishing Results
The Girls Gone Fishing fishing tournament took place this past Saturday at River Bend Resort. It was a beautiful day to be out on the water with a rod in your hand. 32 teams entered the tournament this year. Teams consisted of 2 female anglers with a male guide if desired. The rules were simple, the woman had to do everything but run the boat if a male guide accompanied. The woman really showed the men what they were made of. The first place title went to the team of Brittany Hanson and Brandi Johnson with a weight of 12.26 lbs and payout of $1,000. Second place went to Anna Carlson and Lori Ziehl at a weight of 10.54 pounds. Rounding out the top three with a weight of 10.08 lbs and a payout of $250 was Michelle Frederick-Riopelle and Debb Copp. Awards and door prizes were handed out after fishing along with a meal. River Bend Resort would like to thank everyone who came out for the tournament and to all the sponsors who made this day possible.
