Lake of the Woods is honored to host the 66th World Ploughing Contest, US National Ploughing Contest and North American Ploughing Championship. These events will take place from August 30th thru September 1, 2019.
The international competition was last held in the U.S. in 1988 and holding its long-awaited return to the U.S. in Lake of the Woods is a huge deal for our community, region, and state.
32 countries from around the world will compete in conventional and reversible ploughing contest, with criteria including straightness, weed control, crown, uniformity and finish, each hoping to take home the coveted international championship.
We are in the midst of putting the final touches on our commemorative handbook. This souvenir will find its way home with each of the 10,000+ visitors. Here are a few reasons why you should consider marketing in the 2019 commemorative handbook.
